What is involved?

A pregnancy massage is different to your standard remedial massage. Body positioning during pre-natal massage is extremely important to maximise the effectiveness of the massage and keep you and growing bub comfortable and safe. During your pregnancy massage our therapists use a range of different specialised pillows to ensure your comfort and avoid any extra strain on muscle and ligaments.

At all times, the safety of you and your baby’s health is our priority. We use only the best equipment and oils to provide a comfortable and trusted experience.

Our massage therapists will generally position you in a side laying position with support or on your tummy using specialied pregnancy pillows. The position you lay will depend on any personal preferences and how far along you are in your pregnancy. Laying on your back for extended periods is not advised beyond the first trimester.
